image1Dr. Pomeraniec is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is double board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry.

Dr. Pomeraniec graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in philosophy and received his medical degree with high honors from the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed adult psychiatry residency as well as child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences where he holds a faculty appointment as voluntary assistant professor.  Dr. Pomeraniec is actively involved in providing clinical supervision to residents in training and lecturing extensively both on campus and in the community.  Dr. Pomeraniec has completed additional training at the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute.

For seven years, Dr. Pomeraniec served as the Director of the Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry Division at the Miami Veterans Administration Health Care System.

Dr. Pomeraniec has extensive experience diagnosing and treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, co-occurring disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral disorders in both the pediatric and adult populations.His unique practice model allows for a comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment plan that integrates neuroscience, genetics, and both developmental and psychological constructs.

Dr. Pomeraniec was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Miami, Florida. He is fluent in Spanish.
